Entering a search termYou can run search commands from various places on our website. At each page, there is a search box that allows you to do a quick search. A list of records will be displayed and the menu part of our site will bring you to the Database section that will give you some advanced options. The advanced options at the Database section include:
Review the records
After submitting a search term, the content area of the site will display a list of records matching the word(s) entered. As you move your mouse over a record, the row will light up. Move the mouse over the camera icon, and a thumbnail image will popup near the mouse pointer. When a row is selected by clicking on it, the right side of the screen will show a larger image of the picture. The last selected record is indicated by a light blue background color in the record. Refine your searchAt the bottom of the result page, there’s a search form named ‘Search within results’. Type here additional items to refine your search. For example: if you first searched for ‘rose’, the database would have returned all records with the word rose in it. If you refine your search with the word red, the database will return all records that have both the word ‘rose’ and ‘red’ in it.
